Default My new old 97 Black on Black coupe

I made the jump from a C4 to a C5. Found this car with 90K miles. Six Speed and it came with the stock wheels with new Potenza tires as well as the wheels here with Michelins. $9500. Includes a CAI and new slotted and drilled rotors.

That is nice!! Congrats on the new old car.. LOL! I had a 2000 C5 Coupe that looked just like yours. I loved that car!! Such a great car.. I sold it in 2007 and missed it every day. I just picked up a silver 03' Z06 today. So happy to be back in a Vette.

Congrats again on the sweet ride. I need to get some good pics of mine like you got there. Very nice looking!!!!

Nice ride, but you have to do something about that front license plate mount.

Thanks everyone. I lost my 92 C4 in a flood this summer and have been actively looking for a replacement. I really liked the C4, it felt like I was sitting in a go cart all the time and was so much fun to drive but I appreciate the more spacious cabin and the easier ease of entry and exit, plus the C5 is my favorite looking vette. I don't know what exhaust is on it but I think it's stock, it's fairly quiet. Supposedly the only non stock parts are the wheels, the rotors and calipers and the CIA. It came with the part to fix the 1-4 shift which is still active and I think I will get the part to fix the steering lock problem before I have a problem with it. The only issue with it is the passenger side seat belt is jammed, but I have a new one on the way. The interior looks as good as the outside. As I said I also got the stock wheels with new Potenza tires so I am ahead of the game there.
