Default Strange little funnel that came with the GS

Finally figured it out Its an emergency re fueling funnel for pouring in gas from a can. I don't recall Seeing one in my 2015.

That's really so your wife can use a urinal in an emergency.

A lot of gas can nozzles won't fit in the gas tank opening, so that funnel is an adapter that will fit so you can pour gas from a gas can into the tank.

While I knew it was a funnel, I did not know the details until they showed us during the Spring Mountain driving school. Seems like the gas tank has two flapper valves. You have to push this little thing in as far as it goes to make sure the inner valve is open.

Any that store their cars and add Stabil or something similar to the fuel need it.

thanks for that little bit of information, i was wondering what that funnel was for, also now have 2 front tag mounting brackets for stingray or GS,anyone need one let me know,we don't use them in fl.

Also, if you have a 2014 that has the recall on the anti-siphon grid, it is useful to look down the fuel inlet neck to see if the grid has come loose and fallen into the gas tank.
