Default chassis Restoration

I have my 64 small block convertible chassis stripped down and I'm ready to begin re-assembly. I want to try and repaint the parts to there original color and finish before putting it all back together. Can anyone provide me with the paint color list of what is painted what color?

But don't believe everything you read in it.

Paint everything satin black and you'll be 90% there.

+1. And if you are interested in a high score at NCRS flight judging, you CAN believe and should follow every detail, right or not it doesn't matter in judging, just what the TIM&JG says.

And if you buy the Quanta frame marking kit, disregard 90% of what they say in their data sheets.

Those are nice comments on what not to do. What should he do?

I went through all of this...

The JG is certainly a help, but knowing some folks with a survivor example (Rich Yanulis and some others in the case of a '63) and access here to folks that really know their doo-doo is critical.

And, yes, at some point you'll have to make a few decisions about whether to follow the JG or the "right" things you find out elsewhere.
I took a few 'point hits' in that regard...

For instance, I wouldn't spend a lot of time trying to find an AC fuel pump with 4 screws in the bottom (per the JG)...its a 'snipe hunt'.

I'd heard about the Quanta markup kit; didn't use it however

The guide book is 63/64. The errors in the book apply to both years in many cases.
