Z06/GS offset wheels and Z06/GS quarter panels....plus paint...plus labor....plus alignment.....of course if you want it to look correct you will also need z06 front fenders....front bumper....and big brakes......an awful lot of money for and extra inch of wheel.....and by the way....they are 19s not 18s......the fronts are 18s

Also, be careful you don't change the front to rear tire diameter ratios too much, or the vette's computer will force you to go a lot slower than you may want

My base vette has the Ligenfelter mini tub and runs 345 width tires comfortably.

I was reading that 305 size was the biggest that fit for base c6. Any bigger cab cause promblem and stick out of the fender

The reality is that the cheapest way to get a lot more traction, is to buy some really sticky tires. Nitto N01s or Toyo R888s should do the trick.

Stock C6 size is 18 by 8 on front and 19 by 10 on back , you can put a 305 on them but would fit better on an 11 inch width

You also need to keep the overall diameter within I think an inch between the front and back otherwise the active handling, traction control and all the other nannies we have will kick in and you will get the dreaded " reduced power" message

Gone are the days of just putting on what ever tire you want

Good luck

Yep on stock rims and offset and even that is pushing it as the rim width is to small

You can possibly get aftermarket rims with different offset but once again you need to make sure you measure the diameter otherwise you run the risk of upsetting the nannies

So would 18x9.5 in the front and 18x11 in back aftermaket rims work just fine? Or mess up the nannies?

I am running 305/30/19 Michelin Super Sport tires on 10.5" wide rims on a base coupe with no issues. It is not recommended to run this tire on a 10" rim. However, you can run a 305/35/19 tire on a 10" rim. Even though they both have the same sectional width, the tread width on the Michelin S.S. 30 profile tire is 1" wider. Installing this tire on a "10" rim will cause the tread shoulder to roll up and not be planted as designed.

When selecting rims, proper wheel offset is important so that you have enough clearance on both the inner and outer fender.

To keep the nannies happy, it is best to have 1" - 1.2" larger rear diameter tire than the front tires.

When selecting tires, you need to look at the tire specs for both the diameter and rim range recommendations.

He might just be after a wider tire for looks. If that's the case, it's going to cost some $ just for wider tires for "the look".

I wouldn't buy those tire unless you are a wealthy man. They literally melt away like butter.

R888s are a great bargain and very sticky tire ime. Mine have a ton of track use and I abuse them badly, getting sideways and what not every single time I start that car. They certainly aren't as sticky as they use to be but can easily make it 6K miles being used like this. That Michelin is a 2K mile tire and cost an extra $700 or so for the set.

Order them from Tirerack and get the option for $15 a tire where they pre-heat cycle them, if you are going to track the car.

Good luck

Ferraris and Paganis run much smaller tires and push much more power. You'll be just fine without the extra rubber. Unless you're okay spending $10k on a "look."

I agree and the looks was just a bonus. I didn't wanna lose out on traction is the reason I want 335.

Would 275/35/18 on 18x9.5 front work with 305/35/18 on 18x11 back or 295/35/18? I don't AH or TR error
