Favorite features / options on your C6
I'm interested in hearing from those who have owned a C6 for a while on what options / features you have found you enjoy most after a while of ownership. Keep it to just the top 2-3 things and say why they are your favorite. It's interesting to find what different people value most and why.
Is it the NPP exhaust option? A specific transaxle ratio? A particular trim option? Certain colors interior / exterior? What options / features put a big grin on your face and make you really happy you included it with your C6 purchase? I'm more interested in non-after market items, but some after market things that aren't huge investments would be good to hear (is: mild to wild or throttle response mods, for example).

Top 3 for me:
1 - Z51 Package; love the way it handles through the mountain roads (I play a lot)
2 - 3LT Package - the entire package
3 - DSOM - wasn't even on my list when I first started looking a new Vette, but as soon as I saw one I had to have one and still love the color

I have a lot of favs but my number one would probably be a combo of a factory option and my added option lol. The factory NPP exhaust paired with longtubes and x pipe make the car a blast to drive. Really transforms the car!

Coming from an 04 C5 z06 to an 11 C6 GS......the differences and improvements are numerous and huge....In general I love the newer interior....specifically the shifter....
exterior wise.....gotta love the wide body

1) HUD
2) 3LT option package. I may not use all of the options, but they are there if I ever need them.

F55 option, magnetic shocks tops my list, best street suspension setup I've ever had.
3LT option, all the features are great, especially the HUD.
Love that all I have to do is open the door get in and drive without touching a key or fob, and it auto-locks itself too.
Bonus feature, when the car goes to 'sleep' it will turn off any lights you may have left on.
Best additions after the fact, Corsa Sport exhaust, Z51 sway bars, VaraRam CAI, wheels/tires/wide-body mod................

Burning Brakes
That right pedal is my favorite feature. It does so much...
Second is the keyless and pushbutton start setup, it just works
Third would be silly, but I really like the trunk pull down feature. Sure I had Lincoln's years ago that did it in slow motion, but this one is cooler. Once I learned how high to drop the trunk it works every time and is just a quirky thing that makes me smile.

My favorite options are the NPP Exhaust, HUD, and the Nav. I know a lot do not like the Nav but I really do and I like that it displays on the HUD. and in the case with my GS I like the removable top!

Well I could say GS and 4LT since that includes just about everything! But individual features would be:
1) Wide body
2) Big *** wheels and brakes
3) 6M trans

Top three things?
In order of preference, these are the things that make the car more interesting to drive on the back roads. They epitomize why I bought a high performance sports car.

- Manual 6-speed
- Convertible Top
- Z16 Grand Sport Package (Wider tires, stiffer suspension, bigger brakes and lower trans gears specifically)

Top 3? Alright...
1. Z51 : After owning a non Z51 C6 and currently having a Z51 package on the current C6 I definitely do not regret making the switch. I always hated that the non Z51 car would float over bumps in the road and more closely related to a luxury car ride. The Z51 package is MUCH stiffer and I feel like it is much predictable when taking turns on a winding road. I would not go back to a Non Z51 car after this or if I did I would change the suspension immediately. I can't comment on braking performance because I do not dog on the car but the drilled rotors definitely look great on there.
2. Targa top (Solid color)
After owning a few convertibles I love to drive with the roof off. The Corvette is a perfect balance due to its hard top design. I feel like the car is very rigid and acts like a coupe but still has the open air feel. The clear roof gets VERY hot in the south so this car has a solid black roof. I love it, many people are surprised when I tell them its removable. I contemplated going back to a convertible corvette but the fabric top was a turn off for me. I do like how convertibles look with the top down though.
3. HUD
The previous car was a 1LT and was missing this function. I can live without it but I think it adds a cool factor to the car and is nice to look at when combined with the GPS turn by turn instructions.
