Will the 300 kph cluster read mph?
I was looking to install a 300 kph cluster in my 03z and as far as I can tell it is plug and play. The question is does it only read kph or will it read mph

I cannot speak to installing one in a non Export car... My 01 is actually a Canadian export and came with one already. Also had an engine block warmer.. lol.... Mine works fine...

nvm found the answer in a 9 year old thread. ugh time needs to slow the **** down
The 300 is to represent when its switched to km/h. Mainly because on the US version, while running in the Km/h mode on the DIC, 200 km/h would only be abou 120 mph... and we know the C5 easily goes over that.
I DO UNDERSTAND that when its in Mph mode it works too, but your needle will almost always be leaning to the left, not even using half your gauge.
Doing this swap would be purely for the useless bling effect, like NOS stickers with no nitrous.
But to each their own, you would just need to find a way to adapt your euro console to your US computer. Or swap it all out entirely. Pretty expensive if you ask me to change your 200 to a 300... lotta money for one digit.
