Since 2014, all new Corvettes come with a cover...for shipping. And I don't recommend using it after it's been removed during PDI.

You can ask for the shipping cover that the factory puts on for transporting the car to the dealership. But it depends on if you want an outdoor or indoor cover, which you purchase separately.

Car cover doesn't automatically come with the 16's, but there's no reason it shouldn't be a part of negotiations. Got one thrown in with my '16 Z51 after getting a killer deal.

Are you sure that the car cover wasn't an option on your GT350? I've own two late model GT500s, and both had covers, but they were an option.
It appears that the GT350 is the same (below), or maybe the dealership through it in with the deal, but it's still a $375.00 (MSRP) option.
Nonetheless, car covers are not standard on the C7, unless you want the packing/transportation cover.

The C7 OEM GM car cover is MSRP of $405....certainly NOT free.

Can't recall GM ever offering a car cover as standard equipment on a Vette. As mentioned, one can be bought as an accessory.
