Default Another Mamofied build in the works

Well my build is finally underway it's been along time coming and had a few set backs. Anyways I will give a brief write up of what I have going on then upload some pics when I get to my computer.

Basically everything under hood is going to be new.

ERL 447 shortblock

Katech LS9 High Pressure/High Capacity (Red) Oil Pump
ATI 10% UD Balancer
MMS TFS LS7 Cylinder heads 62 cc
MS Comp Cams solid Roller Cam, 252/266,113+1
Crower SR lifters
C7R Timing Chain
Halltech 108 cai
MSD intake ported by mamo
NW 102 TB
Kooks 2 inch headers no cats with qtp cutouts
Corsa mufflers
Flex fuel sensor to run e85
DeWitts radiator
Aftermarket alternator can't remember the brand

Finally compression ratio will be around 13.5 with the domed pistons.

Transmission

This is a auto swapped z06 it has a 6l80e built by rpm transmission. My last converter was a 2800 new one will be a circle d 4000 stall.

Appearance

Trying to keep everything black got the calipers powder coated black, 5 % tint on side and rear 30% on front. Waterpump, alternator bracket and valve covers were also painted black. Also have a front splitte to install.

This is all I can think of right now I will clean the thread up alittle later after work and add pics. My dyno numbers will be on a mustang dyno through a 4k stall so obviously they won't be as high as others but I'm more into track numbers anyways.

I asked him if he could have it done Nov 4th that's kinda what we are aiming for. Waiting for rocker stands and pushrods should be here next week. In the mean time he is doing fuel pump and installing calipers. Seems like everyone is eager to see what she will do.

Nice list of parts you got, are you planning on running stock or aftermarket rockers with those heads?

Nice I figured, Tony is a solid guy. I drove up to his shop a few months back to pick up my heads. The amount of knowledge I gained from an hour or so talking to him was fruitful. He recommended the Yella Terra rockers to me as well but I'm not running an LS7. Keep us posted.

Most definitely will. Honestly I was hoping it would have been done by now but erl was 2 weeks late on the short block. Had to wait for measurements to order head gaskets. Ordered those then waited a month but all is good now. Like I said I'm not a dyno warrior but kinda curious to see what it makes. I made 522 rwhp on last setup i would like to be at 590-600 the but it will be close. I'll be happy with it either way cause I have feeling this is going to pull pretty hard.

Yes same dyno. I'll go into a little history on the car.

When I dropped the car off last year it made 470/440. It had a small cam 228/248 114, halltech 103, hand ported heads milled, 1 7/8 kooks headers carted x pipe, ported stock ls7 intake, stock ported tb

I added ported fast 102, NW 102 tb, Corsa mufflers, deleted the cats

That got me to 503 whp 460 rwtq

Added flex fuel sensor ran e85
Finally numbers were 525/460 my tuner was impressed and so was i. I picked up 90 rwtq in the midrange. I'll post a graph later. So I know this dyno is not a happy dyno. My installer I think is more eager to get it done than me. Lol

Thank you, it gives us a good reference on the history of this engine as the builds went on. Big numbers impress superficially, however good numbers give more info. I agree that dyno gives average to low numbers. The gain is what gives us the best info.

Here is the car. Weld 17x11s in rear on M&H Drag Radial 325/45 R17 and fronts at 18x4.5 on a M&H 185

Personal plates

Short block build head gasket is actually a .045

Some of the goods

Engine bay. I'm ditching the fast fuel rails going back to stock.

Power Coated Calipers

We have some good e85 here too

Sub'd. Make sure you going grind the paint off of the mounting points on that alternator bracket. It was pointed out in another thread recently that the mounts are how the alternator stays grounded.

If you see the cam card it says I have a HR when it was suppose to be a SR I got with tony and Comp Cams they insure me that its still a SR that the card was printed wrong.

Here is another forum member with the same build he has a SR no doubt but our lobes are the same as you can tell from the card the only different is the HR and LSA
