they can easily be installed with a screwdriver with a V cut in the blade

I use my weeding tool, which has a V notch in the blade.

Amen. I have a large screwdriver that I bent slightly at the middle of the shaft and notched with a grinder at the tip. Only way to go.

You can "fold" the seat cushion, which will allow you to get the wires into the clips by hand. You don't need a tool.

Reference to screwdrivers with a V-cut in them, would an upholstery tool work in it's place? Just a thought.

Thanks guys.I bought a cheap set of long screw drivers and notched one and it worked like a charm.Cliff if I need to take them out again I'll try your method.Man what a difference new seat upholstery makes.I went with black and the interior looks so good.hcbph my wife has a small one but I couldn't get enough leverage with it.Maybe a bigger one might work. Thanks again for all the input guys. The Corvette forum is still a great place to get info.
