Not all C7s have the grill receivers. If you have one get it they look good.

Get tow hooks for looks?

My '14 doesn't have the threaded receivers so it's a moot point for me. The only reason I'd get them even if it had the receivers is if I tracked it.

Consider a V bridle with T hooks on it if you don't have the receivers. The tow trucks don't always have what you need on the street. I started some threads on this stuff but if you go to the track they want you off of it if you break down and I want to do it without damage.

Mine is not a Z51 so no receiver, so no tow hooks for me. I'll have to trust the flatbed driver knows what he/she is doing if I ever need one.

Tow hooks? If you HPDE your car then totally legit. For looks? You decide.

I keep mine in the trunk. Whenever I see a car with one attached it gives me the impression that they know their car is going to fail and need a tow.

I have a pair of them, 1 front, 1 back, but they're in the trunk. I need them because if the car breaks down in the parking garage at work, a flatbed won't fit in the garage and the car will probably need to be pulled out of the garage and then loaded on the flatbed.

oh, and btw- leaving the tow hooks in, is like wearing a condom on a date

About the only thing worse than leaving a red tow hook installed all the time is putting a decal on the bumper pointing to the tow hook.

Might as well get a giant decal that says "LOOK AT ME, I'M A POSER!"

Interesting note (for the ignorant) above the hook.

eta: I see Steve R beat me to it.

I wouldn't (if I were you) Locate recommended tow points so you can tell tow driver, in the likely event he/ she doesn't know where it is on your car.

If I'm not mistaken some tracks require them to be in and properly marked or you don't get on the track.
