Navigation install to base?
Is there anything else needed besides the nav unit to install into a base model car? I have an 07 base and want to find a used nav unit and put in my car.

Don't forget you need to install a VSS wire or the navigation will never start because it has no idea thAt the car has started to move
Look up Ray Kawel , he has a great write-up on installing the NAV unit and you can purchase the VSS wire from him
Installing the unit is plug and play , installing the VSS wire takes about 20 mins , then to the Dealer or someone with a TECH II to remove the Vin from the radio

Spelling Police- it's Kawal.
We've used the factory nav for over 140k miles over most of the USA and Canada. We like it especially because it gives turn arrows/distances on the HUD. If you don't care about the HUD, there are probably better values available.
