Safety Car
Take out the passenger seat, lighter battery, remove sound deadening matl, Lighter wheels, lighter brake rotors if possible. Oh and go NA. J/K on the NA bit. Lots of other ways, all cost ya pretty good $$$$s.

GM has already done a great job on weight reduction, not only for performance but also for fuel economy. I'm assuming that you want to strip it down for racing? If so, remove all of the luxury items... AC, speakers, sound deadening, carpet... as mentioned, lighter battery, wheels, rotors... lighter seats, etc. You can shave off several pounds by replacing the exhaust- particularly mufflers. I believed that I save about 20 lbs by installing the Corsa cat-back system. Also, the painted CF roof is lighter than the transparent roof...

spend over 5gs and buy the Akra exhaust system. That got to be worth over 20 lbs right there

Burning Brakes
Braille Battery
Akro Exhaust
Lighter Wheels
That's about it without stripping stuff out...but you're not gonna save 'that' much...maybe 75-100lbs. And it's not cheap. I'm sure I missed a couple things.

I need to update it but the thread labeled "track car build thread" will give you an idea of some things. I have done more (hence the needed update to the thread) but I'm over 300lbs lost thus far.
But as someone mentioned, what is your overall intention? A 100 lbs can be lost rather easy and rather cheap and still maintain a nice looking car inside. Anything overall that then you need to start yanking interior bits out and getting a little drastic in some places which starts to turn the car more into a track car vs a street car.
