2017 rebates-incentives
Might be a little early to ask this question but with Corvette sales down 14% do you think they will be any rebates/incentives in NOV or Dec for 2017 models and how much?

I do not know what current factory production levels are, my 2017 order went from 1100 to 3000 in less than an hour, second day after the order was placed Saturday afternoon. People have mentioned a four week production interval; order to delivery at the dealer, recently as last week. I could have my new car before Thanksgiving.

Not 2017s, but a local dealer was advertising 25% off MSRP for 2016s...Must have too many with the '17s rolling in.

Wouldn't you think they would produce less cars if sales are down?

Winter weather plus decreasing demand could mean higher discounts and more allocations to smaller dealers.

I heard a nasty rumor that sales of Corvettes are down because those damn Canadians are conspiring to send massive waves of cold air our way. AWD sales are undoubtedly rising right now as we head toward darkness at 4:00 PM.

Discount on 2017s would be nice but there are too many unsold 2016's sitting on dealer lots. I think GM was better off keeping the production numbers down and Corvette being a limited production model but with opportunity for high profit with the all new C7 GM pushed a lot of Corvettes on the market.

FYI: In early September, ALL new 2016 C7 Corvettes in-stock @ Classic Chevrolet were -20%. According to one or two members here, that wasn't supported by Classic sales personnel upon request. One of them went ahead and bought a new in-stock one, paying more $ than the -20% as publicly advertised on WBAP, and other radio stations. The ad specifically mentioned the ZO6es too.
When I read here on CF that the -20% wasn't being honored, I called my guy Ken Thompson personally and reported this to him. He wasn't pleased to hear about it not being honored by his co-workers. Unfortunately, Classic had nothing in stock I was looking for, or I'd of gone over to get a new C7 less 20% as advertised. I find it hard to believe that their entire sales force isn't informed about these ads that run daily on DFW radio - but I'm now certain that's exactly what is happening.
If the customer doesn't know the particulars when they arrive at the dealership - they're not going to hear about it.
OP, the most discount off new 2017s on CF forum I've read is -12.5%. IIRC, this included a GM Employee discount of about 10%.
