If so, please post some pics because there aren't that many good pics out there. I'm really interested in seeing how well the shark gray vents match up.

Thanks.

Not of the Spice Red vert. I have one of the Twilight Blue vert that was also at the car show I took those pictures at, but that probably won't be very helpful to you.

Does anyone know if when you order the Spice Red Package or the Shark Gray vents directly, do the upper rear quarter cooling vents also change to Shark Gray? I can't really tell by the pictures. I know the side vents, hood vent, and lower Z06 brake duct vents change to Shark Gray, but not sure of the upper rear quarter cooling vents.

I'm still not sold on the Torque Thrust package wheels. I'm warming up to the look, however I would like them more if they were side and wheel specific. They basically reverse mount so the passenger side to me looks odd compared to the driver side as the slant pattern changes from side to side.

Thinking of matching up a set of Forgeline AR1s in Transparent Smoke with this package. Then again, today is Friday and I might change back to Long Beach Red on Monday.

Thanks. The GM/Chevrolet site is confusing and their computer rendition visuals really are off and don't help. Also, the difference between Shark Gray and Carbon Flash is pretty subtle (which I like) so any close up pics of the upper quarter panel rear vents (coupe) would be great. The GM site does not list the Z06 brake ducts as Shark Gray when I click on the Spice Red Package description, but I think that's because it's meant for all models including the Stingray. So to confirm, with both the Spice Red and Twilight Blue packages, the hood vent, side vents, Z06 rear lower brake ducts, rear tail light vents, and upper rear quarter cooling vents (coupe) are all Shark Gray correct?

How do you like the package wheels?

I think you will find the rear brake vent on the Z06 is not included and therefore will be black.
I does not change with other body vent colors...stays black.

Gray looks good w/AW as it is a little less contrast.

I pulled this picture from an earlier Forum post and it looks like the lower rear Z06 brake ducts are Shark Gray but it may just be the lighting.

Here is a picture of the e-Bay Z06 from the earlier link provided and I can't really tell if the lower Z06 brake ducts are Shark Gray or whether the higher rear quarter panel vents are Shark Gray. They look like they remain Carbon Flash.

Either way, I like the darker red Spice Red Package calipers and how they match up with the Shark Gray Vents/trim and package wheels.

Hoping 16/C7Z can confirm the vent/trim colors as he has the Twilight Blue package.

If you look at the "Shark Gray-Painted exterior vents", which are part of the Spice Red package you will see this:

This does not include the rear brake duct.
The rear brake ducts will be Black.

on Twilight blue design pkg they're SHARK GRAY except for lower rear quarter panel brake cooling ducts see bottom pic in this post. Those are carbon flash

cannot speak to spice red sorry.

Looks black from almost EVERY SINGLE ANGLE other than direct on top very cool little element differs from rest.

Take a look at rear brake duct that's carbon flash. But top quarters are definitely shark gray on this package.

See that pic other side of car different angle looks black.

love them. i wanted these wheels in the worst way. they made a lot of Z06's this gen so far and they ALL HAVE THE SAME DESIGN. i'm glad they're an expensive option and even then only come in black with stainless lip which i am NOT a fan of. i know that wherever i go (outside of a carlisle type event) the chance of running into another C7Z with these is nill (except for my buddies lol) they didn't make a lot of these wheels and packages. and now? shark gray is DONE. so the 43 Z Coupes made with this package (more spice design but still not more than 300 or so total coupes and verts all packages) only 8 are this color. for all eternity lol

i think the pearl in the paint of the nickel color on these wheels really accentuates the lines of the wheels themselves. it get's lost on black (as does most things).

Correct, as shown in my post above the link to the Shark Gray-Painted vents, the quarter panels are gray...the lower rear brake ducts are black as they are with the Spice Red package as the SG vents are included.

Thanks. I really appreciate your help in clarifying this as it's tough to shop color options on-line.

I'm glad to know the upper quarter vents are Shark Gray because that really ties together the other vents IMO. That way, even with the lower rear Z06 brake ducts remaining Carbon Flash, it keeps the Carbon Flash trim near the bottom half of the car (planning Stage II Carbon Flash skirts/spoilers) with the Shark Gray trim on the upper half (with exception to the rear spoiler). I know Forum vendors like RPI also offer the the Z06 lower brake scoops in all body colors, including Shark Gray, for $215 if I want to go that route.

I'm planning to place more order by year-end and I've been going back and forth between Long Beach Red and Arctic White. My first configuration was with the Adrenaline Red 3LZ interior and although I liked it, my wife saw it at a dealership and called the interior "Hooker Red"

I like red, but I don't want to be overwhelmed with it so that's why I'm considering the Arctic White/Spice Red combo. The Shark Gray trim only adds to the look IMO.

Enjoy your great new Z06. Your color combo looks great and is certainly rare!

np that's what these forums are about. i learned SO MUCH from here i'm happy to contribute.

did same thing at carlisle this year. wife hates adrenaline red i loved it. so i thought spice red. never even SAW the twilight blue design package. imo the blue is so nice and not IN YOUR FACE like the reds it's timeless. and easy on the eyes for extended ownership.. choices...great that we have them

I think GM should add special blue calipers to the Twilight Blue package just like they have special dark red calipers for the Spice Red Package.

Unless they're saving the blue calipers for the 2018 ZR1...

Love the Spice Red interior. I did see a AW twilight blue Z06 convertible that is at a local dealer and that looks sharp also ! Wife loved the blue interior. I also love the wheels and as was stated above I really like how uncommon the wheels are compared to all the stingrays out there. Until seeing this post I didn't realize that the convertible doesn't have the upper rear quarter vent . That didn't catch my eye when viewing AW Z06 blue interior convertible.

Hoping 16/C7Z can confirm the vent/trim colors as he has the Twilight Blue package.

Top pic is my car with no parking underneath. I'll try to post some pics later with the full interior.. it was at the stereo shop getting a complete overhaul.
