Default 65 Corvette Roadster

65 corvette roadster $63500. 327 -350

It’s time to sell my 65 sun fire roadster. The car was purchased in 2004 with the intention of buying it to do a complete restoration. I finished the car 2007. The millage shown now 21188 as of this date 11-7-2016. I updated many functions of the car to include the following. I built the car to my specs. and to have car that I could drive and not worry that it would fail because of age.

Air – Serpentine belt system – Power steering- Power Brakes – Rebuilt trailing arms-updated steering box 12 to 7 ratio. Corvette 15” leather wrapped steering wheel - S/S brake lines – Black canvas top – new gas tank & sending unit – New brake & fuel lines – Rebuilt instrument cluster & clock - Poly graphite bushings throughout suspension – T-5 5 speed 2200 rpm @ 75 mph – Black leather interior- 3 point seat belts - Dewitt radiator - Half shafts & drive shaft-3 M clear bra & qtr panels - Elect points

Car since day one has been garaged, and it looks as good as the day the restoration was completed. I have won several awards at car shows.

I met 7 other C -2’s in Tahoe Ca., 500 mph from where I resided.
Every evening they were repairing their original cars to keep them running. I never even popped the hood. other than to check the oil after I arrived and departed.

I have been a member over 10 years and can never thank the members enough for the help I received.
PM me if you wish to ask additional questions, and we can trade phone #’s

Why do you ask?. No I did not. The parts were mostly toast and as I said I wanted to drive and enjoy.

Just received the new Corvette Mag.. They are featuring C-2 and their current values. According to them my 65 is right where it should be according the definition "good" at $63000. I guess will see how it goes.

One thing I forget to mention. I purchased 04 Z06 Machine Silver with some nice upgrades, with less 10000 miles. Hard time telling it's not off the showroom floor.

Very pretty car... I'm local and would love to see it sometime. Good luck!

Guys, just a clarification here. I had to remove a couple remarks that were Interference in a Sales Thread earlier. Later, the OP asked a question that appeared to generate more comments that were also removed, as was the OP's inquiry. So, there's no reason to post any further comments that do not advance the sale of this car in this thread. Thanks very much.
