I regret the ACS skirts
The gm tech that installed the skirt talked me into drilling in to the body originally I told him 3m tape....anyway how many panels have to get painted now to cover the holes?

Don't worry about it nunii. They should be drilled. It is the better way to install them. The holes are covered by the skirt and screwed in from the bottom.

Zero. The holes are drilled from under the car.

Just leave them on for a bit and see if they grow on you. I love mine. Plus they help a great deal from minimizing rock chips on the rear quarters.

I agree-leave them on for a while and see how well you like them in a month or so.

I really like mine... however, I only used the OEM screws, added several rivits underneath, and 3M tape on the lower rockets. I did not drill into the lower "painted area" of the rockers in the event that I decide to remove them in the future, however, unlikely.
If the dealership installed them per the below recommended instructions, then it looks like you'll have 7 holes to fill per side:
I agree with the above posters. Wait a little while, and you might change your mind.

Definitely live with them for a while, the car will eventually look a little naked without them. I like mine, so I never ran into what you're experiencing, but I did eventually also get to a point where it's hard to imagine the car without them.
So I think they're "organic" enough you'll grow to like them... and if not, at least accept them as needed to protect you car from rock chips.
Worst case, what color is your car? You could likely buy plastic plugs for the holes, and they're low down enough they'd disappear I think.

I agree. Let them be for awhile and see if they grow on you. I added mine and installed them with the rivets. I love them!! Best part is they seem to catch 99% percent of the evil paint chipping rocks that were destined for my rear quarter panels!!

The way my guy makes them you don't have to drill anything. He adds 3 more mounting bolts and I sware that you could stand on them they are made and mount. Very strong and durable.

don't get me wrong many of the Z06 combos it looks fantastic. just not on mine.
and I would want exposed carbon fiber and not about to take that hit if I don't like them in a month.

This is one of those unique mods that is both functional and enhances aesthetics. My rear brake ducts were getting bombarded. Not a single chip since the install, and they look good... especially on the wide bodies.

I'm not that fond of the side skirts either, but they're the lessor of two evils in my opinion. If it weren't for the possibility of getting rock chips, I probably wouldn't have installed them. I've found that the longer they're on, the more they kind of grow on me. As others have said, be patient and see if they grow on you as well.
