It will physically bolt on your LS7 but you'd be making no improvements. Your LS7 t body is 90mm and the LS9 t body is 87mm. It was chosen for it's stiffer spring and smaller packaging (motor size/shape) needed for the LS9. It's basically a truck t body.

Yup this. It will work but it's 3mm smaller than what's already on the LS7. Unless you're pushing boost through it then it wouldn't make since to use over the stock one.
