Are you an NCRS member? There are quite a few members who own 1969 L-88 corvettes that are documented and verified as TRUE and AUTHENTIC.

That being said, if you want an original L-88 you have to be ready to pay for one. There are no projects and if one exists it is more than likely not original.

Any true L88 car will be high dollar , for sure. Good luck on your search. When you do find one, proper documentation is imperative, I would hire a expert to verify the car is what the seller says it is

Post to the NCRS forum, maybe one of the owners will part with their L-88.

There are two that will be going to auction in January.
Mecum: https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0117-26...tte-l88-coupe/
Barret Jackson (194379S718301): http://www.barrett-jackson.com/Event...TTE-L88-200664

If you already know what you want (color/options/etc) then the best bet would be to track down the current owner/s (via prior sales/auction, C3 registry, NCRS info) and open up communications.

There are a few for sale here https://www.proteamcorvette.com/1972.html

I'm not in any way associated with them, I just look on their website a drool, not that I can afford a L88 or a ZR2.

Um..that isnt exactly correct, wes has a 68 l-88 and its in project form so great time for a buyer to jump,
He traced it back to the owners widow who confirms its her pasted away husbands l-88,

Yes and to add it was almost sold and verified by a scrupulous judge. I was well informed about the car at that time it needed work, It may have been too much work for the novice buyer at that time as he has no experience. This present day Wes has done a lot of work on the car. The previous buyer should go back and make another offer but he may have since bought something else.

just my 2 cents worth
