What's the 1st performance mod of choice?
So what's everyone doing to see some power gains where there is no tuning required?

Ok so Afe or Halltech cai and an Xpipe. I'm assuming it's an xpipe with high flow cats then?

Weapon-X for me. Noticeably better throttle response
I'd say the best FIRST mod is an MGW shifter if you have the M7.

Halltech CAI and Innovators West 9% overdrive lower pulley. No tune required and added 70 rwhp/rwtq.

you order from mgwshifters.com
They might still have the 10% off from black friday, if not you might give them a call and see if they will honor it.
I went ahead and purchased one even though my order is still months away.

This is the most important mod and will generate much greater performance than the mods mentioned. Knowing how to drive the car is important and once you know how to do that you can actually use the power provided by GM.
