Default Steering wheel swap time estimate

For those who have done it, how long does it take to replace steering wheel. I'm wanting to replace the one on my 2015 Stingray to a D top/bottom custom style. I read the sticky, but I don't think all the detail is there. Any big cautions, other than airbag?? Thanks.

First time, including changing bezel, etc., about an hour.

Took me about an hour the first time, I had removed it about 3 times already. Right now probably 20 minutes...

An air wrench might help you get the bolt off easier. I let the dealer do my custom steering wheel. Glad I did. Most of my projects fall into the category of "What can go wrong will go wrong".

Dealer just did mine. Less than an hour and around a $100.00. Well worth it to me in case any codes get thrown but none did so good to go.

'Bout an hour. Getting the airbag loose was the hardest part for me. You have to push a tool in the holes just right to release the springs. I used a breaker bar while Debbie held the wheel to loosen the nut.

Charged me for an hour and said the only hitch was it was quite tough to get the center nut off.....

Same here. First time about an hour. Next two times, about 20 minutes each.
