Default I'm back-new GS with forum dealer review-MacMulkin

Crazy weekend for sure. Made a deal with Mark at MacMulkin Friday at 8:30am, was on a flight from Orlando to New Hampshire by 12:10PM, arrived at the dealership around 5:30PM and was driving off the lot and headed south by 7PM in my new GS. Drove pretty much straight through with a brief rest stop in South Jersey overnight and was in my driveway at 1:30am yesterday morning. Fantastic trip is the only way to describe the entire experience. And I have to say, the team at MacMulkin was second to none. Their professionalism was beyond reproach and everything they advertise was absolutely true 100%. I cannot recommend them enough and I have done business with quite a few dealers over the years. It was worth the trip to see their inventory alone- mind boggling actually. It was clear to me that they understand vette buyers and really care about the customer experience. I was amazed to even find the original bench order and build sheets included with paperwork. Protective plastics were still in place in the interior and the car was absolutely spotless after the pre-delivery clean up with 6 miles on the odometer. It was so nice to get in a car that didn't feel like everyone and their brother had been climbing in and out of it. Thank you to Mark, Jessy and of course Tommy Jr.

As for the car- AW GS, M7, carbon flash badges and mirrors, PDR, battery protection pkg and 2LT trim. I was able to get the 2LT for around the same price other forum dealers with offering 1LT cars for. My initial impression is that the C7 is fantastic! I'm so glad I waited on the GS as its a bargain at the additional price over the stingray similarly equipped. And my mind was blown at the positive reaction I got the whole way home on the car. I've had quite a few nice cars, but never have gotten this much interest in any of my other cars.

Before leaving MacMulkin Friday night-

An early morning pic Saturday AM in the hotel parking lot-

Its great to be back!

A stunningly beautiful car. How easy was it to get used to the M7 on the drive home?

Thank you! No problems at all. After about 5 minutes I was right at home. The shifter seems very positive. All of my vettes have been manual cars. The only thing that has taken some time to get used to is the position for reverse.

Its going in to my local tech this week. I was assured the motor wouldn't implode. I wasn't able to change the oil on my 16 2SS until a hair over 1000 miles and the drain plug was nice and clean. I took it real easy and thought it was a better choice waiting to get it done by someone I know and trust than get pot luck at an unknown dealer along the way given horror stories posted here and elsewhere.

And Scott, thank you for the inspiration to get back in the game buddy.

I'd put in a second vote for the guys at MacMulkin. Top notch all the way.

Thank you! Keith at Autonation WC. I called him this AM and he's getting me in first thing in the AM on my way to the office. Fantastic guy.

He gets the thumbs up a lot. A bit of a drive for me but I'm having a difficult time finding a local dealer I trust. I may have to "suffer" driving the car to get there. Thank you.

Congrats!

Wow .. talk about similar stories, I closed my deal with Mark too on Friday. Between the 15% discount MacMulkin is offering and $2000 loyalty it was a no brainer. Picked up my new GS on Sunday morning and drove it home to CT.

What a fine piece of machinery!!!!

Congrats back at you. That's awesome you got the owner loyalty. I had a farm bureau cert worth an extra $500 so that helped. Which car did you end up getting? I concur about it being an awesome ride. Post some pix to the thread please.

He is a super great guy who is easy going and will go the extra mile for his customers. I would say its worth the drive.

I have bought many new vehicles, but my new Vette purchased from MacMulkin was the easiest transaction of them all.

2 emails, 2 phone calls, show up with a check, done.
