Default New here!

Hello everyone!

I purchased a 2015 z51 about a week ago. I am new to corvettes and would love any input on the car. I love it so far and can't get enough of it!

Congratulations on the new ride -- Looks great and you will LOVE it. I haven't been here too long myself, only a few years, but the wealth of information available here will blow your socks off. Experts, track rats that are at the beginner level right through semi and professional levels, expert wrench benders that forgot more about corvettes than most of us know etc. etc. etc. To be honest, everyone on here (excluding a few OLD grumpy ones like myself on occasion LOL) is happy to share information. Best of luck with the new ride. Make sure you check out the "sticky" information section at the top of the forum web page - pretty much answers to about ALL the common new owner questions.

Congratulations and welcome.

Great looking Vette. But then again I am partial to Arctic White Vettes.

Congrats and welcome. With cold weather, especially with Z51 tires, get ready for what GM calls "Chatter" when making slow speed turns. If you have a friend in the car be sure to use the easy work around when it's below 45F. Turn the wheel at least 1/2 turn from full lock and make a "K" turn! If you don't, they will tell all your friends about the "piece of junk" you bought! It feels that bad.

Here is a PDF discribing why it occurs with lots of Pics: http://netwelding.com/Wheel_Chatter.pdf

Welcome! There is a lot to learn from this forum and I have found that you can use Google with any issue or topic and as long as you put C7 Corvette in the search it will help you find all of the info buried here across the last three years. Best!

Wow! I didn't know there was a Sunset Pink. Is that a custom color?
Congratulations, and welcome to the forum!

I've got the same car on order.

Is your car lowered? Have the shocks settled much?

Love the look...

Thanks so much everyone and thanks for the winter tips! I won't be driving it much at below 50 degrees. Can't wait for the summer to drop the top!
