Default The Decision

SO, I went and did iit. I traded my 2016 Z06 2lz auto for the 2017 Z06/Z07 1lz manual. I track the car and I was tired of the overheating. I got 11k off the car and at first I had buyers remorse until I started driving home and using active rev match. Couldn't be happier, a little less on options but I rarely used those. Can't wait for warm weather and back to the track! Better pictures to come. Great deals out there, if you're looking to upgrade.

If I were a serious track guy, I would be waiting until January to see what that `18 ZR! is all about!

^^^I'm hearing different opinions on the Zr1 and release dates. But if it does, I'll wait for the reviews and then get one.

You went from nice to nasty. I like it, and right before Christmas. Rev Match is so fun. Love the black.

Default Hood

So explain the hood set up to me. I see a Ram air opening assume there are 2 also see about 4 vents to dissipate heat. Is that correct. Really is sharp. Does that stop the heat soak issue?

Congrat's, I did the same thing, except sold my 2016 z06 (3LZ) outright, then bought the 2017 z06 (1LZ). It appears/looks like the hood vents are a little larger/different then the 2016. You are correct there are some awesome deals out there right now, When all was said and done it was a $2,600 difference, got new tires to boot (LOL) and then with the Manual 2017 the overheating issue should be fixed. (at least for one tank of gas)

The $10,000 California state tax on the buy side transaction makes that a no deal here on the left coast. No credit for a trade in on that tax cost.
