NPP vs Corsa Sport Exhaust

NPP vs Corsa Sport Exhaust
I am seeking a bit of help determining which route I would like to go in regards to changing/keeping my axle back exhaust on my 2008 Z06. I bought the car completely stock with the exception that the previous owner had install a Corsa sport can back exhaust system. the car dropped an exhaust valve at 9K miles so I decided to build the replacement motor for bigger performance. I ended up installing a stock short block with BTR stage 2 cam, WCC stage 2 heads, Fast 102 intake, and Pfaedt headers with o/r xpipe. The car dynoed at 577HP and 530TQ @ 6500rpm on mustang dyno and is downright sinister. I happen to love the way that it sounds now but the wife hates it. I am considering switching over to the NPP stock exhaust to quiet it down, but I am afraid that with the headers and the off road pipe its really not going to make that much of a difference anyway. My wife liked the way that the Corsa sounded before the engine mods so I am trying to get the sound level as close to that as possible. Does anyone with a cammed off road piped Z06 have some sound clips of NPP? I have a line on a NPP axle back but I want to make sure its going to make a big difference before I spend the extra money. Thanks for the help!

Can't speak of the cam/heads/headers sound but the NPP will quiet down whatever you have. It reroutes the exhaust thru the "baffled" chamber. I have the 427 and it's very quiet until you hit the 3K RPM when the baffles would normally open up. I run them open all the time of course.
It is nice to be able to calm them down when needed thou.

I think as far as quieting down the car sound wise, you would make more of a difference installing high flow cats, than you would switching to the stock exhaust. The Corsa exhaust is pretty tame at low RPMs (I personally have it on my 08 Z, and love it).

Bose noise cancelling headphones and a generous iTunes gift card. Put them under the tree for the wife. Problem solved (and you save a few bucks, too).

NPP w/ headers is pretty loud with the baffles open and very quiet with the baffles closed. Some people like the sound of NPP w/ headers, but I thought that the sound was a little too raucous and disorganized, sorta high pitched and not a very clean sound.
The Billy Boat Fusion system is another reasonable option to consider; however, with the baffles closed it is not nearly as quiet as the NPP with baffles closed (your wife may still be irritated, but hopefully not). The Fusion system with baffles open is not louder than NPP, just deeper, and to my ear sounds better.
