Ad Choices taking over android phone screen.
Just today as I try to view CF through the Internet Brands "Garage Talk" app, I'm getting all sorts of those random "Ad Choice" ads at the top/bottom/middle of threads. Anyone else getting these? So far have only viewed the site through my Samsung Android phone, and laptop internet directly. Laptop is fine, but phone a mess.
Is this just my phone/account? How do I stop it? Anyone else experiencing this through the app?

Post a screen capture to confirm what you're seeing.
That said, ads help pay the bills. Although CorvetteForum is free to access and use to member, it is not free to operate. CorvetteForum cannot run on a 9.95/month host plan. The bandwidth and usage requires more expensive hardware on top of the fact Internet Brands is a for-profit company.

Here is the screen capture...
I've been a member here for three years and never experienced it like this on my phone. After further digging it appears to be something with Google and not CF.

At least half the screen now on Android app. What a joke, can't hardly get to or read thread titles now . If can't easily navigate the site why bother using the app . I'll just find another site if continues.

Agreed. Ready to dump the app and just view on web. I liked the app better for overall useability, but this is ridiculous. I've read up a bit on google ads, doesn't seem like it is easy to get rid off just make them less personalized. I get these in the web too, but with a much larger laptop screen or monitor it is hardly noticeable.

Yep, about ready to dump the Mobil app too. Too bad, liked having it on my phone but now it is more aggravation than anything

Again, ads pay the bills for the website that is free to use by members.
I'm told by the ad team that what you posted is in fact normal for the android mobile, especially in the screen capture you posted when the page is short.

Maybe the ad team can explain what changed as of two days ago? If this was "normal" why did it just start suddenly after having the same app and phone for years?

Ad slots and content change just as they do in other media outlets. I'm not in marketing, but I suspect it's not common to listen/read/watch to the same ad, at the same time, for the past years.
Understand that Internet Brands, who owns CorvetteForum and ~100 other websites, has a full time staff that continuously works to develop their products by adding features, addressing issues, and helping to promote the content. Internet Brands is operating a business. The mobile app, like many other apps you'll find, receives updates to add functionality and features as well as address bugs.
It may not be the answer you want to hear, but the ad team reviewed your screen capture and said that what you're seeing is normal and not a bug or mistake.

I get that ads are necessary, but they changed the way the ads present themselves on android devices and in the process pretty much ruined the user experience.

Same on the iPhone, I complained about this before. And I get ads help pay for stuff, but give us an option to pay for an ad-free version of the app.
They can do the ads better too, just put a banner at the bottom that doesn't scroll with the forum content.
