Default New Tow Hooks

Ordered the ZL1 Addons tow hooks in the unpainted finish, then sprayed them yellow to match my calipers on the BRM Z. I can't decide now if I like the look or not, would appreciate some input from you boys..........YES or NO ??

Thanks

Looks good enough to keep in your storage compartment in case you ever need it. Leaving tow hooks in looks very ricer in my opinion and cheapens the look of the car.

Not that a track day event is going to give you beef over it, but most rules require them to be red.

Personally, if you were going to paint them a different color I would have done body color.

I think they don't go with the color of the car. I'd go with black to have them blend in with the grille and other trim. JMO though

Judging on the chrome wheels, it's unlikely you're going to track the car, so no. If you are going to track the car...still no.

Looks good-a nice touch to bring out the brake calipers.

Removing them between track events is a pain and presents another chance to damage the bumper.

Unscrewing a tow hook is not a pain and I have never damaged a bumper. I would just call that lazy.

Funny, because I see more tow hooks lately at Corvette shows and at cars and coffee events than I do at auto cross events. The yellow ones look fine for show purposes because they match your calipers if that's the look you're going for.

I have a front tow hook on mine that matches the car and I think it looks pretty good.
Here's mine for reference...
