Default 30 Years of Callaway Corvettes - Special Exhibit @ NCM thru May 5th, 2017

30 Years of Callaway Corvettes - Special Exhibit opens @ NCM January 13th, 2017

CALLAWAY CORVETTES
JANUARY 13, 2017 – MAY 5, 2017
A celebration of 40 years of Callaway Cars and 30 years of the Callaway Corvette, an engineering company that is known for its modification of Chevrolet cars, the Corvette sport cars in particular, especially their twin-turbo package that became a Chevrolet RPO (factory option) and their record breaking Corvette, known as The Sledgehammer.

Callaway vehicles planned for display are the very first Callaway B2K Corvette (#1987-001), significant milestone models, including the 1988 Callaway Sledgehammer, Series I and Series II Speedsters, LM-bodied variants, Development cars, Callaway C12 and C16 models, Supercharged C6 and C7 powerhouses, including the latest from Callaway - the SC757 Z06

Also on display will be several bits of automobilia from the company's 40-year history.

Stay tuned for images and further details from the opening of this monumental exhibit - and be sure to check it out during your next visit to the National Corvette Museum.

For details on the cars on display or to get into a Callaway of your own, please drop us a note:

I was at the NCM during a Callaway exhibition a few years ago. It's awesome!
Highly recommend seeing it.

Thank you to everyone who's checked out this thread and is as excited as we are about this special display of Callaway Corvettes.

I'll be at the National Corvette Museum this week on Monday and Tuesday, and if in the area, please drop by and say hello. I'd enjoy meeting folks from the forum and talking Corvettes - especially 30 Years of Callaway Corvettes.

If able to make it to the NCM, drop a note to say when:

Brother, I'd LOVE to see this exhibit! It's good to see it will still be available during the Birthday Bash.

Hello Chris,

I'm trying to arrange a caravan from the Sebring area in Florida for the middle of May. Will the Callaway car's still be on display at that time?

I'm a former Callaway owner. 2009 SC580 & a 2011 SC606. Both great car's. I wish I still had the SC606!

Ed,

I think it'll only be on display through the first week of May. Perhaps sooner than later for a tour?

Thanks -

I've had no responses to my plan to caravan in May, so I may just drive up in April by myself.

Like they use to say in days gone by: Lone Wolf, No Club.

Saw these being brought in when I was taking delivery of my GS on 1/9. They look even more amazing in person!

Have you considered the BASH at the end of April? The Callaway display will still be at the NCM and there will be at least one 2016 Admiral Blue SC757 in the parking lot.

I've looked at the BASH schedule, and may just do that as it has a lot to offer. Thanks.

Here's the first video in the series, kicking-off the Callaway exhibit at the NCM. It features the World Famous Callaway Sledgehammer Corvette, and showcases some of the other models in the background.

There will be additional videos over the next several weeks, and I'll post links as they come online. In the meantime, here's the link to the first:

Also, The Corvette Blogger just ran a story yesterday on our 2010 Callaway SC606 Demo Corvette Grand Sport which has surpassed the 250,000-mile mark, trouble free. A Quarter Million Miles, and still going strong

Here's a link to that story:
