What's it worth, 2006 Vert with 9825 One Owner Miles?
I'm have been looking for a clean C6. Saw this in local craigslist. Just wondering what a reasonable price for such a low milage one owner would be? Asking price is $28900 which I think is in the wishful thinking territory. It's still wearing the original tires so it's a given that they would need to be replaced.

I'm in NC too, and planning on getting a C6 soon (currently have 2001 C5 Vert 3 years, now with about 49k miles). I would say I'd be interested in that at $26k.... That being said, I'm willing to wait & spend more for a GS/Wide one...
Regarding the tires: Unless you drive 100+ MPH I would definitely run the orig tires til they showed any indication of failure. Tires are made up of many layers - - even if the outside rubber (a wear item) is not great, the inside is much better....

Looks a lot like mine did before the mods. One of the nicest colour combos on the C6 convertible. I am somewhat biased though. Bought mine new 31 Jan 06. Benn a great car these 11 years. Currently at 38K miles.

Tally HO, I just noticed you are at Eglin. I worked there in 92 and 93 as a civilian. Loved the Panhandle!

Dude.. if it flips your switch go get it. It's definitely not hurt and well taken care of. Look at KBB and online appraisal sites for an average price. But it's hard to put a price on TLC..

Ten year old Goodyear runflats? Pep49 - stay with your original idea of replacing these things ASAP!! 10-year old run-craps are hard, noisy and have NO traction in wet conditions.

Um, run-flats suck brand new, so replacing them for reasons other than their born on date is recommended. But in this case, it's not absolutely necessary. And wet conditions? Who on this forum drives their Vette in the rain? Every one in the classifieds says, "never seen rain." hahahaha

Just for reference I just purchased a similar vehicle. Mine was an 06 with 8600 miles and I paid 24.5K. My Vette has the targa top.
Does the car have NPP or not? Most of us feel that the stock exhaust without NPP is just too quiet. It takes about $1600 for a high quality Corsa axle back system to resolve that.
All of your fluids will need to be replaced if you are handy not a big deal. Typically your rear differential will chatter (easy fix), your stabilizer links will need to be replaced $120, updated power steering hose $130. Your rear axle nuts will be loose, cheap replacement $20 for nuts and threadlocker. Check your harmonic balancer to make sure it is running true, if not $600 for parts alone.
I fully planned on replacing tires but my GY run flats look brand new and I plan on driving them at least for the first summer. No cracks, hazing. My car spent it's life in a garage under a cover. Understand that the sun damages tires not time. I know plenty of people with disagree with me tho.
Finally check and make sure the recalls have been completed.
Good luck-great looking car.

It is hard to value a car with very low miles given its age. I'm planning to put my '07 vert up for sale in the spring so I have been doing a fair amount of research on the millage effect on the value of the our cars (mine has 62k).
What I have concluded based on actual sales data is that for every 10k miles the value is affected by $1k dollars.
So in your case the car has 10k miles and they want $29k dollars. Hypothetically If it had 50k miles (40k more) I would discount it by $4k dollars from their current price. That would be $25k dollars. This sounds close to the retail price to me.

Good luck, hopefully this car is loaded with at least the 3LT and navagation at that asking price. I'm sure there is some wiggle room as most sellers expect that.
Edmund list the private party at 23,697, if it were located here in the northeast, all the above mentioned options.
Let us know how you make out and keep in mind how comfortable you will be with the final cost of the car.

With that kind of mileage you don't need to worry about a harmonic balancer or stabilizer end links yet. A $230.00 set of Magnaflows can give you the sound you want. I paid $25,000 for an 07 Z51 coupe with 35,000 miles a little over a year ago. The convertible is worth a little more and that low mileage helps with the value too. You could offer $26,000 and see if they bite.

Price is relative when it comes to Corvette's. I can look at any Corvette and decide pretty quickly what it's value is to me, and that's the most honest advice I can provide.
Pay what your willing to pay given the facts based around your desires....color, interior, modifications, etc.......
I'm very particular about everything, and take into account gripes and or blemishes before making an offer/purchase. To get a Corvette to my standards can very quickly become expensive. To the point expensive that sometimes it's better to dial up my budget to get a nicer car.
That car looks very nice and is priced accordingly if the condition matches the mileage. It's half price of it's original sticker price and ~10k miles is still a new car in my eyes.

It just depends on how badly you want a low-mileage 11-year-old Vette. You can get a very nice 2012 with about 35K miles for the same money (maybe not local to you, but available).
Just my opinion here...I always felt that very low mileage cars were only worth a premium if they were collectible....

Asking price is in the ballpark......you could get it for 26 or 27...most sellers are prepared to take a reasonable offer.....is it a 3LT? Does it have F55 or Z51.....??
