yea, mine is a better deal and goes way faster.

People get too serious in here sometimes. A few years ago there was a guy wanting to figure out what it would take to get his C5 hit 200MPH. “NO B.S. SUGGESTIONS, ONLY SERIOUS INFORMATION TO REACH MY GOAL” or some **** like that. I’ve been here lately because I’m talking about the value of my C5.
I’m obviously just goofing around and not making fun of you now

be cool bro.

Don't forget to add costs for the parachutes to slow the car down.

Yea, thanks, I forgot about those. I see used ones all the time on eBay.
If I can’t get them cheap enough I’ll use 2 king size bed sheets with strings glued onto the car.

With those parachutes I can cut cost on the brakes. I'll get some old drum brakes at the boneyard for maybe $47 each, or on eBay.

I see afterburners on ebay all the time for $37;
I'll add that to the list.
After burners are made to be used on a jet engine. It will need to be customized to work on my 8 cylinder engine.

That reminds me, I forgot that my engine uses 2 spark plugs per cylinder. I can buy them in bulk, 30 per box on eBay, maybe $72.

It won’t fit into the garage, it’s way too long.
I'll get 2 car covers and sew them together so it can fit into my driveway. They cost about $15 each on ebay.

I better sharpen my crayon because I’m using too much paper adding even more to the cost.

Now I have to pay the lawn mower kids an extra $200 each for the build. I think I’ve added a total of $654, give or take $237.

I may have my ideas a little mixed up because I’m so excited. I’ll run it through my universal translator to fine tune the entire idea and costs.
BADA-BING, THERE IT IS!!!!!!!!!!!!

The real question, how much would a C5 with 10,000 hp be worth?

Good question;

I still have a few little things to top off the entire project. I'll add those details really fine-tuned after a few more hours on the old calculator. I would say, after I add those costs, just a ballpark # of $972,116.23, give or take around $5.27.
Now I can keep my car and even buy a big house.

That's way too low. Two of my fiends have both offered me $1.5M for my 10,000 hp car. I know they're legit and have the money but I refuse to sell it to them. You should ask for way more than that because I obviously know everything there is to know about this topic.

I know, but I'm going for a quick sale. Who knows, after this one is completed I'll build another. It would be a lot easier because all I'll have to do is copy this one.

Of course, it's like a standard regular old Corvette.
It may take a few years to work out the kinks. By that time I will have made a profit of maybe $1TRILLION, in total. My calculator won't show how many 0s, that's why I needed to spell it.

But what if someone wants you to build one with 10,001 hp. You would have to change the whole thing

BTW, I realize I don’t have all of those #s and brands and details like the 100K BUILD.
The lawnmower kids are doing all of that mundane crap, I don’t care, nor do I need to.

Sorry for getting back on the case so much later than where we left off.
Being a part time brain surgeon at our shop in Mexico has kept me very busy.

Well, anybody that spends $100,000 on a C5 is as they say in medical terminology, NUTS!!!
How often do they let him out of the rubber room for visitors?

I have already procured most of what I need SO FAR for the build. Mostly on eBay, former dragster owners, crashed airplanes, handmade parts, lots of different places.
I’m a very smart shopper.
My original cost was projected at $4,300, but as we go along it looks like we may need to spend, CALL ME A WHACKO, but it looks like it may take $7,000 for the final build.
My wife just clipped a coupon for the afterburner at WALLYWORLD for $27.99.

20,000 HP takes lots of $ to make. I’m of course going to paint it red.
Somebody said that is an extra 500HP . I’m only buying the best.
I guess that’s what it takes to do things the right way.
