Yes, I could have been more explicit. The total answer to "How to jack front up on C4 Corvette" should have been - With Mr. Jack and Mr. Muscles. There's probably even some nice pictures in the owner's manual. If there's any reason you can't do that, then you should have noted so.

When I got my 95 C4, 6 months ago, the owner of it the last 11 years didn't even know it had a spare tire much less a jack. Plus , no books or anything with it. Off to the internet I went and joining ever Vette forum I found and asking questions. Thanks to the many replies that answered my newbe questions and helped guide me to getting lots done in education and work on my " way less than fair shaped " car. Now, I would consider an easy Fair shaped car.
But, you always had those that had no intelligent input except to waste space. Even in my motorcycle forums I see the same percentage.
So, my hat is off to all whom try to help, no matter how simple the question is. ;-)

1. This is my first car and I have never changed a tire.
2. I do not have an owner's manual.
3. I do not know that in order to take off the front wheel, that particular corner would have to be raised.
4. I am unable to bend down and observe where "jacking location" is stamped right into the panel.
5. I do not know where to look for the jack.
6. etc
7. etc
then I would have given a different response. If you are a member of the "I had one feeling left, and you hurt it" crowd so rampant nowadays, then I apologize. Kind of like asking "How long is a piece of string."
