Default OE Parts Question for a 1999 Coupe

Two items I would like to know with part numbers if possible for a 1999 C5 Coupe

1) Battery

2) Brake Pads & Rotors

Thank You :-)

Not sure about brake pads. But dont use the original battery, get a optima yellow or red top.

Are you trying to keep the car with OE stuff for a particular reason? There are many aftermarket suppliers of those items that work very well on the car. That's not saying the OEM parts aren't good - just curious is all.

Nothing wrong with Delco batteries. Good choice if you want to keep things original.

I don't know about part numbers but as long as you get AC Delco, you could check with Gene Cully at Cultrag 484-949-2099.

Yes :-) The car is 100% original except for the Battery, Tires & Filters. It would be fun to get the car officially inspected by the NCRS. I'm more curious to see how many points the car would get. After going through the car with a NCRS member he told me I could do well. I was told even though an item is not original but the same manufacturer as close as possible to original, I would still be awarded a few points for that item.

I am going to need brakes soon. And even though I would love to put drilled and slotted Centex rotors on the car, I'm going to stick with the OE parts for now.

Thanks for the link for parts
