This is up in the sticky notes:

Why are you doing this? If the tank is leaking there is a program to replace under warranty.

If I'm not ever gonna use it, why not??
It's probably 12+ lbs. off the front. A little here and there adds up.

I believe a gallon of water weighs about 8lbs max, I'm not sure how much total weight this would remove. Are you stripping the car to race? Passenger seat, carpet, plastic trim etc would be best removed too.

But I believe you might be causing issues removing the washer fluid housing as it's vital to the balance of the car. You may find yourself oversteering and also need to get the front end realigned. They may void the warranty too.

You are never going to get a bug, bird bomb, or dirt on your windshield while you are driving? I would like to drive on those roads.

OP is just looking on how to take it out, as in his mind is made up. Any weight savings 'could' potentially help out. At the very least we would all know the exact weight savings if we were to remove this tank. And if it did cause any steering issues do to weight imbalance.

In 3 years I can count on one hand the number of times I have spritzed my windshield. However, I would not want to give up the capability.

This is true, but you're ignoring the impact of adding a soap or detergent agent to the water.

Yeah! Most of you guys weigh too much anyway. Go on a diet. I go to cars and coffee and most of the drivers I see there could stand to lose 30 or more pounds. Just kidding. Relax.
