My Cancer build
Well a few months ago while driving the Vette hard the motor let go. It was a N/A h/c/I setup pushing 617 to the wheels. Was doing some Mexico runs and 2nd gear rolls. I've had this setup for about a year and a half and really drive the **** out of her when I do. Street/Strip with no mercy. So I can't complain it was a good run and I wasn't even that upset when she let go. The next day I wasn't feeling to good and went to ER. Came to find out I have stage 4 cancer. Needless to say I let the car sit for a few as I dealt with my health. Well I recently decided to do a F**k Cancer build. With all the bs and Chemo I deal with I really miss how driving the car gave me peace. So I'm doing a build to get her back up and running stronger than ever. crazy part is that I have to wait a few weeks to be able to drive the car. So I'm doing my build on a timeline when I'm healthy enough to take the power and TQ of the car. Part of my issue is low blood levels so with my treatments I should be able to handle the pressure of the car, so I'm doing my build on same timeline as my treatments.
I would really like you guys opinion on my planned build. I appreciate all help and advice I get. Putting a lot into this build.

Sorry to hear. Keep your head up you will make it through this!
Sounds like an awesome build. Only thing I would suggest is keeping compression around 10.5:1.

F**k cancer, it keeps getting people all around me. Chemo for everybody! Fortunately they're so good at treating it now most are beating it and I hope you live as long as you want.I think it's a great idea to do a build now, it'll give you something better to focus on, obviously it'll be a hellova car. Good luck to you and have fun with it. I'm waiting to blow up mine to do the exact same thing (hold the cancer, thanks)

Sounds like an excellent build, personally I would up the compression a tad though. No need to go that low IMO.
Best of luck with your build and more importantly F**k cancer, better luck to your health.

Best of luck with your health.
Up compression. Do a solid fuel system. I would do e85 if possible.
Figure out the drivetrain upgrades. Stuff like ecs trans brace, drive shaft, etc.
Spend a good amount on cooling system if car is going to be driven in 100+ weather.
Look at allpro/lme heads.

Also, I like that flat black look you've got on it. Is it a wrap or what?

F*CK cancer. they have amazing treatments and I know many people who beat it and are doing great now.
very similar motor to what i have in my car except I'm running D1 on normal 8 rib belt. I have to say the difference between 760/700 and 907/860 is way more than I expected given it's only like 150 more hp/tq, at least to me it feels much faster even though LSX is heavier than my old setup. You're going to love the car on the new setup. not sure if you have methanol but highly recommend the alky control setup
