New car
Today I bought a 1962 Thunderbird to go with the 1991, 2000 and 2002 Corvettes. It is a nicely restored car, but does not drive anything like a Corvette. This is just as I got it home today, before any clean up.

As a former Tbird owner(I've owned three) I commend you on your latest "toy".
Great cars.
I had a 63 Convertible, a 63 Monaco edition, and this 66 I sold recently to get my Corvette.
I think what I liked best about them beyond their great looks was , they were small enough to be able to handle easily, but heavy enough to give a remarkable smooth ride like the higher class luxury vehicles, like Cadillac, and Lincoln.
Good luck with it.
Bob.

Wow! You brought back some memories. Growing up in San Diego I had a young lady who was a good friend and her father gave her a T Bird just about identical to yours. It actually moved along pretty well with that 390 for a good size hunk of real steel. We affectionately called it the "Blue Bomb"! Great car, very comfortable. Well, congrats on your purchase, looks great, and good luck with her!
