Default C7 to C6 and loving it!

Fellas,

Wound up trading my C7 after we had an accident (long story, but yeah it's gone). After the dust settled, I started the search and decided that while I really TRULY dug the C7, it was time for me to finally get that C6 wide-body I've always admired. I found an awesome 60th anniversary edition and jumped on it.

I must say that while I loved the C7, I enjoy the fact that I like the look of the C6GS from all angles (even the back)!

2013 GS (60th), 23k miles, 4LT, all the widgets, and a WIDEBODY!

This car is perfectly raw, and if you can't learn to laugh at that horrific navigation system, you have no sense of humor. The C7 was very refined, and that's great and all, but this is right in between that and my C5's and is perfect.

and the C7 it replaced (new owner must be either thrilled or stupid. no other option)

THANK YOU Sir! Yeah I honestly must've been asleep for all of 2013 because I missed this one entirely, until I saw the ad. REALLY like it!

For a guy who said "I'll never buy a white car", this is 2 in a row and I formally admit no wrongdoing. I wasn't wrong (OK, maybe I was a little)

HA

THANKS (and likewise). I agree, that C7 was (is) stunning. I'd buy another for sure, but honestly given all of the parameters (drive, wide body, raw nature, price, PRICE), I like this thing as much or more.

I have money in the budget for all the bolt ons and maybe a leaf blower too!

I'll take the chassis and horsepower over the amazing electronics of the C7. Other may disagree, but this one is mine.

Great looking ride! I traded my 08 M6 for a 2014 Cayman S last July and I'm dying to get back in a Vette, preferably a GS. Just miss the torque and the ability to perform my own work. Only one Porsche dealership in Nashville as well

A bit roomier inside the C6 vs. the C7 as well. Least that is my experience. Beautiful new (older) car!! Well done.

Yeah the warranty on the C7 was actually one of the drawbacks for me because I was too worried about voiding it by modifying it too much!

It does seem so, and certainly easier to see out of with the lower dash.

THANK YOU BOTH!

Very, very nice looking auto. I'm generally not a stripe fan but the white and silver really works.

Excellent-

When the c7 came out I was ready to jump. Until I sat in one. Couldn't stand the dash. Hate the front fender extensions on the Z06 and then the rear. I choose to go for the gold and get my dream. ZR1! Still the most badass, extremely limited edition Vettes ever. Enjoy your beautiful GS!

2013...427...all day...any day!

Well maybe a '67 427 as a second car.

DANG!!! You fellas know how to roll. I'd be all over either of those too.

ZR1 would be the number one most wanted vette on my list.

Thanks guys, I am with you on the stripe (especially on a vette). Never been a fan of them, but this one was somehow subtle and I dig it!

Careful there, if you park in South Forsyth I might mistake yours for mine! HAHA

(us north GA folks have good taste).

Question for you. Were the darker grey/black headlights an option? I see many of these with them, and am contemplating that one. THANKS!!!

You are right... No 427 on this one. I considered another Z06, but when we saw this (and the price on it) a procharger came to mind.
