Default [C6] Need some help with connecting PAC to HU

Hi all!

I bought a Clarion HU for my base C6 :-)
Now i'm struggling to connecting this to the PAC harness,
bought from Dennis (DDMODS)

PAC harness RP3-GM11
Corvette C6 Base, no onstar, no bose

What's done?
- red wire to red wire HU harness (12v accessory)
- black wire to black wire HU harness (ground)
- yellow wire to yellow wire HU harness (12v)
- orange / white to orange / white HU harness (illumination, dont know if its present in C6, but both connected both wires just to be sure)
- blue / white to blue / white HU harness (Amp)
- connected parking brake cord to black ground (avoiding the parking brake)

Results:
- Power is working, HU turns on
- Fabric chime is working, I hear the the chimes when turning on the accessory.
- Sound is NOT working off course because I didn't connected the speaker wires yet
- I DO hear some strange sound? its like RrrrrrRrR RrrrrRRr
Is this normal?

This is the wiring diagram of my HU:

This is the wiring diagram of my PAC:

Questions:
1/ These wires need to be connected on the HU

I've got some corresponding colors available on the PAC harness.
The thing is, that these wires are going into the adapter.
Do I need to cut them before going into the adapter? and solder them together?

2/ What do I need to do with the RCA wires on the PAC?
Just cut them ?
I've also got some RCA's on the HU (not on the picture) should I connect them to each other maybe?

3/ In another topic I found this:
- The male RCA plugs feed line-level signal to the oem amp, they must be connected to the line-level female RCA's from the new HU
- the Orange and Orange/White wires are useless in C6
Is this the answer on my second question?
Just connect the RCA's from the PAC to the HU rca's ?

This photo shows you the picture of the HU rca's that are available:

I've got 2 bundles:

This one:

And this one:

Do I need to use these rca's to connect the PAC rca's with?
if so? which colours ?

4/ In the picture below I set some red circles.
The red circle below are wires that are left overs from the PAC.
What do I need to do with these wires?

=================

This is what I did so far:

Many thanks for you help!

A small update (im still stock) after reading a lot of topics:

- I cutted the HU orange / white wire that I soldered to the PAC.
In another topic I read that I need to connect this to to gray/black at TC/AH button.
So 1 wire less to concern :-p

I hope someone can help me to get some sound of my HU :-)

Greetings from the Netherlands

Did you get ground loop isolators from Dennis? Mine was very loud without them.

I can't see all of your pics for some reason

All you NEED to connect are:
HU red - PAC red
black-black
yellow-yellow
HU blue/white - PAC amp trigger wire (at B3 of car harness)
and all of the audio RCA's (do not cut off RCA plugs)

In C6 even the base models have an amp, so they need to be connected like they're a Bose system. The HU blue/white is used to trigger on the car amp (B3 wire) so you only need to connect HU right/left front/back to the proper RCA plugs on the PAC (colors should be in instructions)

That will get you playing. HU dimmer wire gets connected at TC/AH button. If you have a reverse camera the trigger wire is in the footwell.

Mate,

I replaced all the images with a new url
Do you see them now?

Thanks for your reply.
Most of them I did connected as you can see on the pictures
But the speaker wires are a big mystery.
Can you please answer the questions above in combination with my pictures? I don't know which rca's I need to connect.

And the PAC rca's are not mentioned in the wiring diagram :-(

Many thanks

You just connect the rca ends from the rp3 into the preouts of the radio harness
do not cut or splice speaker wires on this one.

Thanks.. I will try tonight.

Again, the colours are not correspending from the RCA's on the HU.
And I dont know the functions of the PAC rca's..

But I will trial and error until I hear some sound I guess.

Well... I've just made some progress
There is sound!

BUT.. OR only from the front speakers.. OR only from the rear speakers.
I played with the rca's in different combinations ..
no matter what I do .. no sounds from BOTH sides.

This is how it's connected WITH sound from only front.
If I connect the other 2 rca's from the pac, to the same bundle, nothing happens

I guess I need to visit a local audioshop to solve this issue
No matter what combination I use.. Only 2 speakers will work

Duhhh.. that's what i replyed in my message above

If I connect the other 2 rca's from the pac, to the same bundle, nothing happens
If I connect the other two, the sound is still from only the front.
