Guess all those folks who say a "catch can" is not needed may have to reconsider!
I'm reminded of the issue I still have closing the hatch on my September 2013 built C7 coupe. Was told for 2 years I (and many others) wasn't strong enough, the seal would break in with time etc! Still have to close my hatch before I close my door to have it latch! That issue was vindicated when they went back to a motorized pull down for 2016!

Thanks, first time I actually saw the tube that returns (I assume) PCV collected oil back into the pan. That is a wet sump Camaro engine picture. Although the voice is hard to hear, believe it says that "catch can" device is only on the wet sump Camaro.

It is indeed the best picture I have seen of the drain tube into the pan.
Tadge spoke of this separator in one of his answers if you don't remember.

He actually called it an oil separator, not a catch can.
He pans very quickly across the front of the LT4, but it looks to have the same oil separator in front of the passenger side head. Could not see if there is a drain into the pan, but there likely is based upon the placement of the separator with three vertical nipples.
Is that a wet sump LT4?

pcv oil (the 99% during normal driving) still goes direct from the valley plate to the intake manifold
but pretty much a moot point since this little jewel is not on the corvette engines anyway.
the LT4 fix is here:

the LT1 fix is a dirty side can like this: http://www.mightymousesolutions.com/...2-7d46e8e5ec3d

Melting Slicks
The cutaways are pretty cool. I am pretty sure the dry sump engines have this separator built into the oil tank.
