Do I need to retune after intake Install
I recently dyno tuned my c5 corvette. It has long tubes and chatted mid pipe and corsa catback. I recently just bought the k&n air intake system. Will my tune that I have be messed up if I install the air intake

Mine did not. I never even used a dyno for my tune. I just used an old school Diablo preditor to do it. Now with that being said, I now use Chuck Cow for remote tuning since I have alot more things to do...

YES ABSOLUTELY, when you change ANY AIR INTAKE the tune is basically ruined.
At GM, every intake is fitted to a machine and air is flowed thru it. The machine generates a graph
called a "MAF TRANSFER FUNCTION". That table converts the MAF's frequency (when air passes thru the MAF)
into a grams per cylinder valuse which the pcm uses to calculate fuel.
No matter what intake you have...or switch to.... IF IT'S NOT STOCK WITH A STOCK TUNE...
You need to re-tune it.

I did pretty much the same route. Headers, MagnaFlow cats and X, with a tune.
Later I installed a K&N intake (almost as much from disliking the strap system as anything). I installed it under the premise of the car having the ability to adapt similarly to a dirty filter; the tables are able to adjust from everything I've read.

While the car has a FUEL TRIM SYSTEM that adjusts for very small changes in fueling for idle, part throttle, and cruise....
IT DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for wide open throttle.
Even when it's does adjust, if you're not far from the "CORRECT" target the performance is poor and you risk
pinging or detonation.... AND if it's off on the low end, it only gets WORSE when you go up the scale (or rpms).
While air intakes are not big power adders...They have a TREMENDOUS impact on how the car calculates fuel.
Don't mess around.
