Helm Inc Chevrolet GM Service Manuals
Has anyone ordered one from them for 2014, 2015 or 2016 (last one on backorder) since the price went up to $375?
They now all list them as "Reproduction of Original Publication" and the 2016 which is on backorder has the following note:
"This manual is a digital reprint of the original publication. It is possible that this item will be in loose-leaf format. Any wiring diagrams in the original shop/service manual are NOT reproduceable and are no longer available.
Note: We have 0 remaining in stock. We will hold your order until the entire quantity of 1 becomes available for shipment."
This DOES NOT sound like the old paperback copies that they used to make. I'm not paying $375 to get a copy that is basically stapled together. I want the old bound book style version like I had for my 2008.
Hopefully someone has further insight on this.

Loose leaf format that can be inserted in a 3 or 4 ring binder may actually be better than a bound version.

but it does suck that the wiring diagrams are not included.

Helm got back to me and said these are still bound books and to ignore that warning.
I ordered one, dunno how long it will take to get one, but I'll report back once I get it.

I suspect that the wiring diagrams are still included....if not, they are included with the Alldatadiy.com subscription for $17 a year...but they only have up to the 2014 Corvette manual...but I doubt much has changed for later years.
