Default Novi-Stretch front cover

Just had my new C7 delivered and I saw the add here for the novi-stretch cover. Anyone had experience with this cover? Looks pretty decent but not sure how it attaches or if it's worth the money. Thanks

I've had these stretch bra's on several of my Vettes. They attach with snaps in the wheel wells and loops in the engine bay. Very easy to install and they work very well. Easy to clean also. The only negative I have had is with the mirror covers. They work but I find they cover part of the mirrors.
Hope this helps.

I bought the novi-stretch cover for my 2016 Stingray and am pleased with how it works. It takes a little while to do the first installation (you have to replace three screws in each front wheel well with the provided snaps, as well as a couple on the front spoiler) but once you do that it is easy to remove and re-install.
I bought the mirror covers but ended up returning them as I could not get them to work properly.

I've used both the front cover and the mirror covers and both worked as described. Sure helps limit the bug guts that we have to deal with here in SW Oklahoma during the spring and fall!

I installed the Novistretch on my brand new vette at the dealer before taking the 100 mile+ drive home. Great at keeping bugs from splattering and avoiding potential road rash on the front of your car. I've subsequently had the entire front and hood XPEL'd, but add the Novistretch for longer cruises for the extra protection. Easy to put on and take off as well as rinsing to get the bugs off. If you need Customer Service, they are outstanding to deal with!

The only problem I have with the Novistretch is that it will cover the front cameras. I modified mine...(posted here a few months back) which allows the use of the front cameras.

Other than that, it is a winner.

Yep, use the front cover on road trips. Seems to work well; easy to clean.

I have used both the nose bra and the mirror covers for over a year and I'm quite satisfied. I use it mostly when doing highway trips. I agree that the mirror covers are a PITA to install. I found that using an old credit card to tuck the edges of the cover behind the mirror glass helps a lot.

Last year on a road trip seemed to get behind a grain truck that was loosing its load. When I stopped down the road there was a pile of grain that that fallen off. The novistrech kept it out of the radiator

Put it on for a road trip out east and worked great at keeping the bugs out of the front grill and easy to clean. The installation is very simple replace 3 screws on both front wheel wells and 2 underneath. It then clips onto the replaced screws. It does cover the front license plate but you can remount over it without a problem. Would definitely recommend it.

I have a stretch type cover for the front of the C6....works well and I would use again if on long highway trip....but one thing....be aware that if they get wet in rain, it may begin to flap some on the fenders in front of the wheel wells. At least mine did on the C6....not sure its the same maker as referenced here. I got mine from a vendor here on the forum. Also, they do pick up tiny dirt and stones from the road when wet, something that you wouldnt want to allow to "flap" on your paint. I washed mine out in the hotel bathtub at night. Worth having.....just need to continue to use care.

Haven't had any flapping with the Novistretch bra on my C7. Stays in place no matter what speed.

Just as an aside.....I would have never known it was flapping if my friends on the same trip had not told me what they saw. Just after a heavy rain it gets heavy and more "stretchy" and small road stones get under the edges. Mine has the snap on buttons that you put onto the wheel well opening too. I would still get one...just keep an eye on it to see if you experience anything. As I noted above....no actual scratches ended up on the car.

I recall your very informative posting on how you modified your NoviStretch and told myself that I would do the same thing this winter...... but forgot about it until now, and CAN'T find your earlier posting.....

Would you please either copy a link to it here, or send me a PM with a link to it?

For the OP, I am happy with mine, but only use it going on a road trip, not for just running around fun. Once the initial install is done ( 15 minutes) any other install takes only a few minutes.

Default Novi covers

I also have the front and bra covers. My first set "got small holes" on my first road trip, but was replaced no problem. Work great in SE Ok and several other states!!
