Default 630+ rwhp C6Z - B3/AI/MSD/Vengeance Tune

Finally got results - I was shooting for 630rwhp -

First I'd like to say thanks the Good Lord above then thanks to Mike @ VR for tuning it, Phil at AI for heads 2nd to none and Bill @ RPM for perfect N/A research - I did all the work including porting the MSD (ran out of funds for Tony to do it) -

Thank you Jason @ Gearhead Flicks for quick vid since I couldn't be there -

07 C6Z 43k mile shortblock
VR CAI
Ported MSD (me - took two weeks in every detail)
B3 cam
AI 280 heads BTR springs
New LS7 lifters
BTR 3/8 pushrods
LS7 chain
GM gaskets
Stainless Works 2" headers no cats
Magnaflow ZR1 axle back
ATI 10% UD balancer
NW 102 TB
AC Delco ZR1 plugs
Stock clutch (as you can see) and stock injectors -
93 Octane

636rwhp 507rwtq (clutch slip)

Car is a blast to drive and I will replace the clutch next -this is my DD

Here is the reason for low TQ and the clutch slipping

My graph (large slip) overlaid with normal clutch (straight line)

VR said this is the highest N/A C6 they have seen on good old 93 octane -

Very nice! You must have a pretty high duty cycle on those injectors!

What are the specs on the B3 cam? I've been thinking about switching and adding an msd and nw102

Awesome numbers Jay! I have the same combo except with a FAST intake manifold (620rwhp). AI heads with the B3 cam is an awesome setup for the Z06!

The B3 cam consistently comes thru... I have a "24X/25X" cam as well, hoping I can get near these numbers. Another solid build with the right parts. Makes me wonder if I'm selling my combo way short with a 265cc port.

My build will be very similar as well, with the exception of stock heads just milled. I've been kicking this cam around. Anyone know what kind of numbers it would put down on stock milled heads (.030)?

The port work is probably worth 25-30 horsepower. YMMV.

No, Mamo Msd, NW 102, Halltech 103MF, Melrose 1 7/8" Headers to B&B PRT mufflers.

But on stock clutch for now as well.

Not sure on the Melrose headers as I've never used them. But I'll guess 605/520 on a Dyno jet

I'll pm you and maybe we can put something together for me, that's right around what I'm shooting for!
