Metra has now created a new double din option for your C5 Corvette
Fits all 1997-2004 models
Does not matter if your car is an Automatic or 6 Sp.
This bezel from Metra will be a great option for those who are looking for an inexpensive way to upgrade to a double din radio in your C5 Corvette.
We will note,
Metra produces these in the WRONG color and WRONG Finish for your C5 interior.
These will also NOT come with the cup holder lid AND will have a clip on attachment on backside for the ash tray portion of the bezel.
The stock finish on these from Metra is a smooth MATTE BLACK
We will be finishing these in TEXTURE AND PAINTING THEM for the price shown!
We will also be able to paint these in the 2003-2004 Medium Dark Neutral Finish for those with this interior option.
Metra release date for these are MIDDLE TO END OF MARCH 2017
Once they become available we will have them instock as long as Metra can provide inventory.

This is great. lol I just wrote you about some packages and one of my questions was about my current console and having a bracket or two broken. Seems like this is the better option and then have it painted or dipped, etc.

So Dennis, wouldn't these new molded bezels be good for a leather wrap as well? just a little glue and slap that skin on.

leather bezels we have to make the opening larger to allow for added thickness of the leather as the radio will be a very tight fit without the larger opening and the radios with the motorized screens will never open.
This is is why we only offer the leather bezels in our hand made no ash tray version as we can make them special for leather

we always as well use a box full of packing peanuts to make sure it doesn't get damaged on arrival.
Metra does not ever finish any of their bezels for any car.
I finish them off with texture and paint for many different vehicles daily.
This same bezel is preorder on eBay not finished for 319.99 claiming too be a perfect match as well. Since they have not seen them in person I think they will be a little shocked when they arrive. Lol
