FS: Alcantara D-Sport Steering Wheel
I have an alcantara wrapped D-Sport steering wheel off my 2008 Z06 for sale.
This wheel was custom DOUBLED WRAPPED with alcantara for a slightly thicker grip, and the airbag cover was also wrapped with alcantara.
This came off my car with 2,000 miles to get wrapped and I never re-installed it. It's been sitting in my garage for quite a long time now. Since my car is a dedicated track car, I've come to the honest realization that I'll never need this wheel. (Airbags and track cars don't work well together.)
It comes complete, NEVER USED (not since wrapped) BRAND NEW. The air bag is INCLUDED.
The cost to double wrap a wheel in alcantara along with the airbag cover is more than $1,500. That doesn't include the core charges for either the steering wheel or the air bag itself.
I'm looking to sell this for $1950. This completes complete with the wheel and fully functioning air bag. I'm willing to entertain offers, but I'm also not in a rush to sell.

Can anyone tell me roughly what a c6 stock steering wheel fetches these days on the for sale forum?
Also, does anyone know if the steering wheel controls will integrate into a base stereo system on a car that currently has 0 steering wheel controls?
I would be interested if this works for my car and I can pull a decent amount in by selling my stock unit.

I think the value here is the complete steering wheel since the with the airbag cover also covered with the exact same alcantara. So I would prefer to sell as a complete unit. You could always purchase the complete unit, use the airbag on another application, and the re-sell the wheel if you wish. I just would like to get this out of my garage and onto a new car.

Also, keep in mind this wheel is full alcantara and double wrapped for better grip and thickness. Plus, it's never been used/installed after the modifications.
With that being said, I'm open to any offers if someone is interested.

What year Corvette is the steering wheel made for? And what color is the stitching? I have an ebony/cashmere interior idk if the stitching would match.
