c5 thin spokes on a 96
my chrome replica a-molds and 11 year old tires are due for a change. I have a good deal on a set of new painted c5 thin spokes. anyone have any issues with fit or with tc system or antilock brakes as the rears will end up being about 1 1/4" bigger in diameter? no spacers needed right? thanx joel

I tried some on mine too. Both were the later C4's (a '94 and a '96).
The base wheels (wagon wheels or thinspokes), and the Z06 wheels fit the later C4's without any spacer needed. A slight spacer could be used at the rear, but not required. (see the sizes and offsets listed below to compare fits) No spacers are in the pictures below.
'94 with C5 wagon wheels.
'96 with Z06 reproductions (same sizes and offsets as OEM)
The wheel offsets for the C4 and C5 are:
84-87 base
16"x 8.5"- 32mm
84R-87 Z51
16"x 9.5"- 38mm
88-96 base
16"x 8.5"- 50mm
17"x 8.5"- 56mm
17"x 9.5"- 56mm
ZR1 rear
17"x 11"- 36mm
Grand Sport rear
17"x 11"- 50mm
C5 base
17"x 8.5"- 56mm
18"x 9.5"- 65mm
C5 Z06
17"x 9.5"- 54mm
18"x 10.5"- 58mm

I've had C5 wheels on mine for a long time. Seems like the rears are a little more inboard than stock sawblades but being able to expand the choices in HIGH Performance rear tires makes it worthwhile
