Default Will a pair of ski's fit inside the cabin?

So did anyone try? I have a pair that is 170cm. Wondering if it will fit inside. Might hinder the manual shifter I think.

I know people will start telling me to rent, uber, yada yada. I have a SUV for such purposes but just wondering if anyone tried.

I think they will fit if you angle them over into the passenger area. Will you be driving alone? If not, your passenger may have to put up with a pair of skis in their gut.

I was skiing at Heavenly in Tahoe last year, and I saw a couple getting out of their Stingray with skis and boots in the back. I'm not sure what length the skis were, but I saw them come out of the hatch.

I ski on 185s and although I haven't tried to fit them specifically, my hockey sticks are a bit shorter than 170s would be and they go into the passenger seat footwell. Theres no way I could fit them straight over the shifter without hitting my elbow/shoulder constantly.

They do fit as long as you cut them in half.

Two pair of skis go criss cross in back. About 170 cm max if you don't have to move the seats all the way back. Not as easy as in the C6 and C5.

I was thinking they would fit in your cabin but not the car.

I ski 177s - they fit in my C5. Yes, I slightly angle them to not get in the way of my elbow when I working the stick, but it can be done.

I wrap something around the skis where they pass between the seats to reduce the risk if cutting the leather.

Given there isnt much difference in the interior dimensions of the two, you should be able to fit them in the 7.

At worst, wrap up the ends and rest on the dash.

(Which is how I transported 2x4x8s before I got an SUV.)

Skis??? I thought skis were obsolete with everyone boarding. Get a board (snow); they're shorter. Ya all realize regardless if you ski or board you are talking about taking your vette to the mountains with snow and ice and chain requirements (@ least out west).

Yea, there is that snow and ice thing....but on our the little east coast hills, not usually a problem
So while the skis would fit in the car, those summer only tires might make getting u[ the mountain a wee bit difficult....

So I gave it a try. Not a problem at all. I dont think my little one will complain about the ski being infront of her face. I have winter tires on. My only concern is the muddy parking lot and other people that will be around the car with their sharp skis.

Damn it. Im keeping her at home. Nice to know it can be done.

I got both my jet skis in there, but I couldn't close the hatch.

Good choice in keeping her home. You also forgot to mention close proximity parking to 4 door SUVs with excited kids flinging open the doors not caring what is parked next to them.

I've been trying to sell these skis for the last few months for an asking price of $500 - including new carbon poles and a ski travel bag.
No takers.
Maybe I should include the vette and change the price to.......+/- $53,000

176 length skis fit fine with the front seat marginally moved forward.

I have the original Experience, maybe 4 years old. Still a great ski today.
