Spring Mountain Driving School! Who can go?
My father is not interested in going and is willing to let me go.
The question is can I go on his behalf?? the 1 year purchase anniversary comes up in May and we don't want the subsidized 2 day program to go unused.
Can an owner pass along the savings or has anyone gone on someone else's behalf?
Thanks guys

Normally the answer to this is no, however I thought someone said you can give it to an immediate family member. Maybe someone else can chime in that has more knowledge. You can also just call the school and ask them.

If your father makes a reservation, you can go in his place.

Thanks for the responses guys! plan was to call today since they were closed last night when I posted the thread. it just dawned on me that it would have gone to waste.
He's on his 2nd Corvette, im my 7th (1st C4). Ill try and convince him to just come but he claims to be a cruiser type that has no real interest in track driving

I plan to go in June, and, from what we have gotten from them is that your family member can do a ride along included in your package;and, the 2 day school is more about your car handling than a lot of track time;

, yes you will learn much more about your car at the two day class, than you will just about anywhere else.
The track time is a bonus, you get to go out a tryout what you just learned in class.
You will be grouped accordingly, if you want to go fast you'll be in a fast group, if you want to take it easy you'll be a slow group.
It is probably one of the best opportunities available for a C7 enthusiast to learn about their car, and what is truly capable of.

I'm excited guys! The rep I spoke with this morning said shes almost 99% sure we can do it this way. I asked my dad again if he'd be willing to just come with to enjoy the program minus driving. Found out the dates I'm open to go will be his vacation time and plans to spend it outside the country with mom. Shooting for late March crossing fingers GM approves!!
