If I am correct about the mid engine car not being the 8th Gen Corvette and the C8 actually being released as a 2021 model year car, then this is going to be the longest pre-generation section the forum has ever had!

Also have read that because of the money that GM spent on the C7 it will most likely offer the C7 model along side the new C8.
Which makes financial sense. May be why the early closeir of the corvette plant to retool the plant, maybe so they can coinside the build of both generations in the same year.
