Drag Radials....Help!!!!
I've read everything there is on here about Drag radials.....I have a Grand Sport with quite a bit of HP and it sucks trying to hook up.....
Has any body tried these?..(see pic).....looks like the best way to go and still using the stock 19 inch wheels......Thanks

I've found a couple in 325/30-17s and 18s but no 19s like stock.....I think there are over 200k members out there...I'm sure somebody can figure it out

Have used those. Better than non drag radials but won't hook big power. No idea what your setup is or makes so can't really tell you if they will work for you.

Got it narrowed down to these two...Both come in 325/30-19 (Stock wheel size)
Will wait a couple days before ordering and see if anybody has anything good to say about them

I have run both the M/T SS and the Nitto NT05R (18") on my C5 (436 RWHP) and found the M/T dead hooks every time at the strip while the Nitto did lose traction occasionally. However, the car is trailered now but when the car was street driven to/fron the track the Nitto lasted longer than the M/T (ET Street at the time with the same R2 compound now in the SS).
I have Nitto NT05R 345/30/19 on my 2012 GS (750 RWHP) that is down for repair after snapping the A6 rear shaft and taking the transmission case and Z06 diff with it on shakedown run #3 on a new build car. The problem surely was not too much hook as the car spun all the way to the 1/8 mile mark. It was like launching on ice. I am going to a 325/45/17 M&H DR on a 17" Weld wheel and praying that a 28" tall tire will not set off Active Handling armageddon.

I've got the MT ET Street SS in 325/30/19. They hook fairly well at 750whp, but are pretty unstable above 120mph. I like them for street tires, unless you drive like a lunatic. I'll probably look for something with a stiffer sidewall for 1/2 mile events.

what you mean unstable?

Thanks Guys....Good info,Think I'll go with the Mickey Thompsons according to what y'all are saying.I think they might be better in the rain if I get caught in one of our Florida Downpours that happen daily here in the summer......

I have the 305/35-19 mt et street s/s on my base I have no complaints about them honestly.
I would rather have a 275/60/15 mt et street s/s like I did on my old car but the 19s do well
I've had 305/35-19 nt05r and hated them
The 305/35-19 et s/s is a little wider and sticky

If you have to stay with 19", you'd be better off using the 305/35's than the 325/30's. The width to height ratio creates a longer footprint at the same pressure and a slightly taller sidewall. The MT ET Street S/S seems to be the preferred one for daily use when stuck driving on wet roads.
