Default HUD Setting

My apologies, I did some search but not successful. I've own my 2014 3LT/Z52 AW convertible for two years now with 17K of enjoyment. It was a nice day Sunday for a cruise with my club. so I decided to switch to track mode to exercise the car a little. When I switch to "Track" mode, nothing happen to the cluster. Before it would switch, now it does not. The HUD does not switch to the track display either, it did all that until the dealer did some warranty on the brakes late last year.
Is there a "none publish" procedures/trick to play with this settings or is this something the dealer has to do with a new software load. Thank you in advance.

I believe this part of the 2014 setup is the same as my 2016. Use the left arrow button on the steering wheel keypad to display the menu on the DIC and scroll down and select the settings menu. Select display theme from the settings menu and select link to drive mode to get the display to automatically change with driving mode.

Yep, it sounds as if it became unlinked from drive mode during the dealer visit.

Yes. It is most likely hard set and not "Link to Driver mode".

Walk through on how to set:
