Default ECS 1500/ innovators west combo

Is anyone running an innovators west balancer with their ecs novi 1500 kit. I'm not sure if i need the 8 or 6 rib balancer for this setup. I know that for my hp level i should be running an 8. Any advice?

For any rwhp over 500 go with at least the 8 rib set up. Then for 800 plus I would look at the 10 rib are go with A/A new set up on the car.

I have an 8 rib innovators west balancer, however when ordering my new crank supercharger hub from ecs, someone I talked to there said I would need the 6. This didn't make any sense. Especially considering the basic kit will put you well over the hp level for that. I'm just trying to sort this before my motor goes back into the car with potentially the wrong balancer pressed on. Thanks for the advice

I was finally able to get solid answers on this topic. Big thanks to Bob at Kasper machine for all his help. If you are looking to upgrade to an innovators west it must be the 6 rib IW-780 this is the only model compatible with the ECS crank pulley. Of which there are two available; 8 and 10 rib. The 8 being the smaller diameter. Hope this helps anyone looking to upgrade their current setup.

Basically the ten rib drive is for the 2200R/X builds, anything with the 1500 or 2200 is fine with the eight rib drive that the kit comes with standard.
